Now a compilation showing the midfielder's best bits has gone viral and it shows just how brilliant he was in South America.
Kroos provided an assist in the team's group stage win over Portugal and then made the pass for Mats Hummels winner in the quarter finals against France.
The semi final against the hosts was arguably his best performance, as Germany destroyed Phil Scolari's side 7-1 in the Estadio Mineirao.
The then Bayern Munich midfielder scored in the 24th and 26th minutes, to give his team a 4-0 lead inside the opening 30 minutes of the match.
He also set up two goals as Brazil were utterly humiliated, and earned the nicknames 'Garcom,' Portuguese for waiter, for his ability to deliver the ball.
